After reading up on what the Pink range and the Orange range does.. I decided to go with the Orange bottled range – Rich Premier

The problem I have mostly with my hair is whenever it reaches shoulder length, the natural curl kicks in, and my hair becomes really unmanageable! The ends of my hair starts to point in different directions!

I really liked the smell of Essential Rich Premium Shampoo & Conditioner, it’s not too floral, and it’s sweet & refreshing. But my favourite product out of all the Essential line has to be the Essential Hair Essence Rich Premier. The hair essence doesn’t leave an oily feel to it, and after applying the lotion on my hair, my hands feel really smooth and sweet as well!

After using Essential Premium range for the past 1 week…

About the contest, 20 voters will be selected randomly and awarded 1 Essential Hair Essence (voters get to choose choice of hair essence) from 5 Oct to 19 Oct when you vote for your favourite Before & After photo on their facebook page. Click here to like my picture and vote!

The first impression I got from the Nokia X6 was that it looked like any other sleek and cool Nokia phones out in the market. It looked great, felt great, and the best part – it’s a touch phone! I’m not sure how many of you out there are crazy about touch screen phones, but it does add a whole lot of functionality capabilities.

When I first received the Nokia X6, I was told that its greatest plus point is the music function of the X6. So immediately I started to play some of the default music that came with the X6 and I was surprised. The music quality was superb! Seriously, it sounded like the phone came with an in-built bass! I was listening to some music on the Nokia X6 while talking to my friends online over voice chat, and they were even surprised that music quality sounds so good over my microphone to their speakers! I think Nokia played it right this time, to target a niche market of music-crazy mobile phone users. What’s more, the phone comes with 32Gb on-board memory, which means you can store crazy amount of music in your phone!

How Nokia distinguishes itself from other handset makers in the musical phone industry is with its unlimited music download service “Comes With Music”. The site Comes With Music http://www.nokia.com.sg/explore-services/music/comes-with-music have millions of songs that you can download for free! My set even came with a Nokia headphone to listen to my endless choices of songs!

Another factor of the Nokia X6 is its home screen, it can display your emails, facebook contacts, RSS feeds linked directly from your homepage. It is obvious that this phone not only targets the youths that loves their music, but people that love their social networking tools to be part of their mobile phones. Over all, the phone feels nice to touch, by that I mean the screen is sensitive enough to accurately display what I select. It is definitely by far more sensitive than many other touch screen phones in the market currently. Nokia also added a setting to prevent clicking wrong buttons; you would have to double click on some of the options to select them.

The best part of the Nokia X6 is definitely its simplicity. As I’m not a frequent Nokia phone user, I’m not sure how Nokia have evolved its GUI, I’ve heard that some Nokia phones come with very complicated interface with many applications that people don’t use. However, with the Nokia X6, the menu only pops up 12 options ranging from phone setting to Apps. The menu interface is not cluttered and the home screen interface gives its users maximum interactability.

The X6 is already out in Singapore stores and the last I heard, it’s selling at about SG$1000 or $380+ with a Singtel plan. For a phone that is simple, sweet, great sound, great camera, it’s definitely a good deal!

I’m an otaku. My hobbies includes staying at home playing games and watching anime. Recent few weeks, I’ve heard quite a few people talking about this anime called K-on, I’m deprieved of watching good animes ever since my 2008/2009 anime seasons ended such as Jigoku Shojou 3, Code Geass 2, Macross Frontier etc. etc.

My first thought watching K-On was… why is the protagonist so retarded. She obviously have some form of developmental behavioral illness, perhaps autism or attention deficit disorder (ADD). She’s pathetic, always spacing out, always making lame jokes, saying inappropriate things and just being retarded. I honestly don’t see the charm in retarded anime characters. I’m not trying to offend disabled kids, but Yui Hirasawa really irritate the *BEEP* out of me.

I’m usually quite skeptical about the aniimes I watch, but usually I try to persist on and see what else the anime has to offer. I was hoping that K-On will take me by surprise like how School Days did with a surprising twist or ending. After watching episode 6 of K-On, when the music club girls did a school performance, I can’t help but to compare it to Suzumiya Haruhi’s school performance in Melancholy of Suzimiya Haruhi did, where it gave me goosebumps and made me watch that performance thrice. K-On club’s performance just wasn’t fantastic. Musicality wise, Macross Frontier and Nodame no Cantabile definitely beat K-On hands down.

WHAT IS SO GREAT ABOUT K-On?

I decided to google it, just incase the plot actually gets better and I might be writing off the anime too soon. Then I read this review, where it says the anime was good in the beginning and went down hill from there. OMG. If the author of the review thought it was good in the beginning, and the rest of the anime is crappy, then I don’t see how there is any chance that I will enjoy the anime any further.
DELETED!

Next anime to watch is 07 Ghost.

It was love at first sight when I first saw this phone – the LG Crystal GD900. The Crystal’s see-through keypad is so awesome! The keypad not only functions as a normal keypad, it is also touch-screen. Meaning, the screen of the GD900 is touch-screen, and the crystal portion also works as a touchpad and can be used as a mouse to navigate! Another added feature of the Crystal is its Gesture Shortcut ability, by drawing pre-determined symbols on the touchpad, it will load the shortcut function that is assigned to the symbol you chose. Although, I’m such a klutz, I’m sure I’ll manage to somehow break it.

The model’s hot~

This is the LG Smartphone GM730. LG have many promising plans and strategies with the launch of LG’s very own Smartphone. Following the footsteps of their competitors, LG designed a Smartphone for users that wants more customizability and usability of their phones. The difference is that LG’s Smartphone aims to target users that are new to Smartphones with its intuitive user interface design. “You don’t have to outsmart your smartphone” approach. Another demographic that LG aims to reach are those that wants to use the Smartphone for more than just business.

LG will be launching their own LG store in Singapore and Australia after 14th July 2009. With it, thousands of applications will be made available, given the choice of free, free to try, and direct purchase. The bloggers will have the opportunity to download some apps before the 14th July!!! We’ll be ask to report bugs and give feedback on improving the store, what more, the best contributors get free credits to download apps!

After trying out the LG GM730, I felt there were many similarities between the LG smartphone and the iPhone. The interface is slightly different since the smartphone uses the S-cube interface and it also have a multi-tasking function that allows you to perform many functions at the same time. I guess I need to play around the phone more to experience the convenience of having a smartphone

I loved Ponyo on The Cliff by The Seaside a..a. Gake no ue no Ponyo 崖の上のポニョ!!! Although some people compare this show as an anime re-make of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, but I beg to differ.

Ponyo is more than just a mermaid-turn-human, Ponyo’s made alive into a magical girl (mahou shoujo) character in the typical anime typecast by Miyazaki. Even after she became a little 5 years old girl, she had the playfulness and impulsiveness of a fish!

Hayao Miyazaki is just a fantastic anime creator. I am ashamed to say I haven’t watched Spirited Away and a few others of his classics.

I found the fan-made romanji “subtitles” lyrics for you to sing along to Ponyo song…

I was very excited when I heard that Philips was letting me review their latest GoGear LUXE mp3 player! I’ve seen one of the Philips staff, at the previous luxurious Bloggers Event they held, wearing this very stylish jewel. She introduced it as one of Philips’ latest innovation for a fun and simple MP3 player. I’ve been waiting to get my hands on it ever since!

Delicious!

I was given the black set and Sab had the red one. Both of colours look like timeless pieces of jewelleries that can be worn even if you just received it and haven’t yet charged the player.

As demonstrated by yours truly in the below picture.

It looks like part of my clothes design!

Tip: Clipping it on a belt would look fantastic too!

Clip and click to always stay tuned and connected! The chic Philips GoGear LUXE digital audio player fastens as an accessory and switches from music to calls on your Bluetooth mobile phone – and displays Caller ID – with one touch.

Taken from Philips’ site

The sound quality is superb! The set comes with a in-ear headphone, its USB cable can be plugged into the battery charger module which is very convenient because I always found my gadgets having too many cables and it can get confusing!!

I’ve tested that the Bluetooth works fine with my Sony Ericsson K800i phone, but I’m not one that likes to use earpiece. Sab would definitely find it very useful because she always have problem picking up her phone while driving (putting my life in danger as well!). If you’re looking for a wireless handsfree earpiece for your phone AND looking for a simple MP3 player, I think the LUXE would definitely be very useful. I’m not sure if there are other MP3 players out there that can match Philips’ GoGear LUXE in terms of of its on-the-go bluetooth cum MP3 player functionality, but as someone that hasn’t bought a MP3 player in the past five years, this is something that I would actually pay for. But of course, I’m putting this MP3 player on my Christmas wish list *hint hint*.

This chic little thing has 2Gb of space, which is more than sufficient for my daily listening pleasures. It’s small but not unsightly and it’s matches clothes super easily! I’m going to play with this MP3 player for a while more and update you guys again! Hopefully I get to keep the review set for a few more weeks! The GoGear LUXE definitely stands out in terms of looks, although its compact design meant that the buttons were a little small and I had to use my nails to press them since my fingers are quite stubby >,<

With it costing a little more than SG$100, it’s definitely a bang for buck mp3 player!
