Seems like the easiest chance of winning best blog award is if you nominate me as the most interactive! I don’t know what it takes to be interactive, but vote for me anyway!

I’m the Drama ma ma Queen of controversies (you can nominate me for both!)… from shooting people for not caring enough about the environment and using less plastic bags to calling for the ban of shadowfox lead to a series of debate in the Ping.sg community of whether banning people from Ping.sg is a deprivation of “freedom” of speech.

Insightful? Definitely, read about why you shouldn’t blog about your work, irritating words used in the office, and why I hate PC shows.

Priss is full of entertainment, from LG Scarlet event to Madonna’s Hard Candy launch at Zouk

I blog about news too, I’m really attracted to scandals though (don’t we all love juicy scandals?)! I love scattering my 2cents on my blog about how Maia got pregnant and how Wong Can’t Sing

Ok take your pick from the links I’ve provided above and vote for me~~~~

Shouldn’t it be obvious that people shouldn’t use blogs as private diaries? Once you post something in your blog, it’s for the world to see. If you really need to type your diaries instead of writing them the conventional way, then type your diaries into notepad text files and save it in your computer.

Lately, there have been quite a few scandals and criticisms on what is posted on people’s personal blogs. Yes, a blog is a medium whereby ‘commoners’ like me and you can act out our inner fantasies of being a journalist or even a tabloid magazine writer, or perhaps to an extend, an online biography of yourself :) But blogging about your family or your work or even friends is just plain insensitive and inconsiderate.

Read here and here for some news about this SIA stewardess blogging about her work, her passengers and her affair with a married pilot.

Why people shouldn’t blog about their work:

1. Blogging ANYTHING that casts your company in a bad light is disloyal and to a more serious extent, treacherous.

2. Blogging about your clients/customers is very unprofessional.

3. Blogging about your co-workers is worse than point 2, because you never know who’s reading your blog. Creating more backstabbing publicly would cause more unhappiness at work and possibly affect the morale of your colleagues. Not to mention, no one would trust you with their secrets at work incase you blog about it.

4. Blogging about your boss is simply stupid. Your boss should fire you for that.

5. Disclosing private and confidential information about your clients, co-workers, boss, HR, cleaning aunty, is simply rude and disloyal.

6. Disclosing your companies’ secrets should/might warrant you a lawsuit.

If you really need an outlet to relief your stress, work place gossips, complaints… go whine at your girlfriend/ boyfriend/ teddy bear. Don’t wash your dirty laundry in public and risk getting sacked, in other words, don’t be stupid.

More bloggers are now featured in “old media” mediums such as newspapers, TV, magazines and this is one of the first time I’ve appeared in the media and labeled as a blogger! Cool! Yes! I’ve appeared on a LG advertisement!

I’ve appeared on TV and newspaper in the past for playing competitive Counterstrike (yes, that was like 10 years ago).. But, oh my, now I’m an advertisement for LG’snew TV series Scarlet?

Sorry DK, had to steal from your blog post cause I’m too lazy to take my own pictures >,<

For more pictures and detail of the fun we had during the LG Scarlet launch party you can read my earlier post

Things like this makes me really feel like a real blogger hur hur hur

But of course, not as pro as my dearest Sab aka Princessa that made it to MyPaper ! Congrats!

I haven’t been blogging for quite a while now. I can’t seem to find the time to blog, or perhaps, I’ve lost the passion to blog.

It’s quite sickening to read Ping.sg everyday and see all these squabbles with community politics… I don’t even know what to blog about to react to those posts, so I chose to not blog about them.

I guess the heat is starting to cool off now between various bloggers, and perhaps I should find the time to blog and do other things I love – MuayThai (haven’t been going for training for the past month!), drawing (I still need to practice drawing more apples!), general exercise (I have been more ‘hardworking’ snacking and eating ice cream)

Sigh.

I suspect I’ve been so stressed at work lately that I’m developing Bruxism – I clench my jaws together when I’m asleep. I’ve been waking up with muscle ache around my jaw area for the past 2 weeks and I suspect it’s correlated with the stress level I face at work.  I’m not sure if I should be bringing this up with my doctor or with the dentist. Hmmm…

I hope everyone out there is having a better week than me :)

Woohoo! I love attending events, of any sort, and the Scarlet Tv series is one of the best I’ve been too in recent years! Who’s Scarlet? Sabrina invited me to witness the unveiling of Scarlet’s true identity – it’s a TV series. Yes, a series of TV. As in, it is a product line – a new series of cool, funky, sleek, LG TVs.

Overall, this marketing stunt is a brilliant one from LG. The Scarlet series was launch worldwide from 28 April to 2 May 2008 and everyone has been attending the party thinking it’s a TV series. The advertisement was cleverly scripted and like a true espionage, fooled everyone including myself! I’m so glad was invited to LG Singapore’s Scarlet premiere and had lots of fun~!

1. The place

It was held at a huge event room in the complex where the Singapore Flyer is. We were welcomed with red carpets, beautiful and tall models and a camera crew. I thought I was quite under-dressed since I came straight from work… Oh well. Many people that I came in eye contact with also smiled at me, I suspect I looked like some LG executive because of my working clothes O_O?

2. The people

I met celebrities like Wong Li Lin, Allan Wu, Irene Ang etc. , top boss of LG Singapore, and of course, many other bloggers like Daphne, Jean, Farinelli, DK, Jessica, Peggy, Nadnud, Ice-Angel, and of course, Sabrina! Oh, also got to meet Jarius from Comiqs.com, Alvin from omy and Gavin Foo from Fleishman Hilliard.

Some events lately have made me reconsider the reasons why I am blogging.

Some blog for the money, some for fame, some for relief, some for fun, some for the hack of it.

I’m probably just using this blog as a medium to vent my bottled-up anger at the world, and my personal ranting.

Sometimes I think I’m totally bitchy in my blog, to the extent that at the treats.sg launch at Geek Terminal today, Sabrina decided it was funny to introduce me as her best friend -the one that bitched about ShadowFox-. It was barely funny btw Sab :(
I might be bitchy, and my dear readers may only know this bitchy side of me that seem to disagree with everyone and everything and enjoy stepping on people’s toes – I don’t. If only there’s a way for everyone in the world to empathize with everyone else. Perhaps, then, I wouldn’t have to step on any toes and no one steps on mine.

I guess it’s unfortunate that some of you will only get to see the blogger-side of Priss, I’m actually a pretty lame funny and weird kind of person to hang out with :)

However, I actually do feel a little self-conscious when I blog about “controversial” topics such as homosexuality, religion, politics, philosophy, well.. I do feel that sometimes I’m very tactless when I blog and I care more about my own voice than the people who are going to read me. Should I continue blogging whatever I please? I’ve already self-censored many things and still, I’ve gotten into countless fights with people that disagree with me on my views. What is this blog for? -sigh-

On a happier note, the party at Geek Terminal was quite fun (will try to blog about it tomorrow), then a bunch of us headed down to Pump at Clark Quay, was very fun too :)

I’ve been blogging for more than a year now, although I’m not your hardcore blogger that blogs about everything everyday… Nowadays blogging is all about the juice.

First, you need a juicy headline.

A lousy headline:
Why no one reads my blog? :(

A good headline:
Sex scandals littered in my blog but no one interested?

A lousy headline:
My workplace is horrible

A good headline:
Stupid bitch at office. Office politics & Cat fights!

A lousy headline:
I lost my handphone

A good headline:
Bastard who stole my phone should rot in hell

A lousy headline:
Edison Chen is a bad boy

A good headline:
Edison Chen SEX maniac with pictures [NSFW]

A lousy headline:
Mas Selamat escapes

A good headline:
Mas Selamat f***s Singapore in the a**

A lousy headline:

Ping.sg new version out!

A good headline:
Will Ping.sg Stop Edison Chen?
