on May 11th, 2010Nandos Coming To Singapore in 2010 !

Wow! This is really great news. When I was studying in Melbourne, Nandos was one of my FAVOURITE restaurant to dine in… and it has arrived in SINGAPORE in Bugis Junction!!!

Bugis Junction #01-85/87 telephone number: 63386555

Nando’s is a casual dining restaurant chain originating from South Africa with a Portuguese/Mozambiquan theme. Founded in 1987, Nando’s operates in 26 countries and on five continents.Nando’s specializes in chicken dishes with either lemon and herb, medium, hot or extra hot peri-peri marinades (properly known as Galinha à Africana). In some countries, Nando’s has other flavour options like mango and lime, lemon and herb, or Mediterranean. Taken from Wikipedia

The awesome thing about Nandos is, their prices are reasonable, they serve rice, awesome peri-peri fries and juicy chicken. My favourite menu to order would always be:

1/4 grilled chicken meal with rice and peri-peri fries set

The set usually costs about SG$20+

Its Portuguese-style flame-grilled peri-peri chicken is so juicy and tender, the mediterranean rice is very savory and peri-peri fries is simply one of the best fries around! You can select from a range of spicy sauce from lemon (non-spicy) to extra spicy to go with your meal. Warning: the extra spicy sauce is REALLY spicy, so go for the milder options!

I haven’t got the time to visit Nandos yet, but I will definitely soon!!! *drools*

    PRis,

    Nando’s sounds nice.

Pack your favorite item in dry ice, (frozen CO2) ship me a sample overnight.

Nando’s may never land here in the States.

(just kidding about sending me a food sample.)
