At first look of pictures of Joanne Peh in Star Awards 2010 ceremony, she looked gorgeous. At second look, she still looks gorgeous. So where is the “fashion disaster” that many people are talking about? Some traditional news media even call her fashion sense “sadako like” or basically, looking ghastly. I don’t really follow Singapore’s Channel 8 Chinese artists or news, and I have no idea who won what during the Star Awards this year. What I do know is that Joanne Peh’s Gucci dress looks 100 times better than some of the other actresses that were there.
Some people claim that her nipples can be seen through the clothing since she’s not wearing any bra. Is going braless really such a big deal in Singapore? Especially when you’re talking about wearing a pretty Gucci dress that is suppose to bare an inch of her breast from the bottom. Instead of showing cleavage from the top, she’s showing some boobs at the bottom. Big deal? It’s not like you’ve not seen her, or other actresses, in swimsuits and showing off half their boobs!
Well, I think she looked great and I don’t see what the fuss is about. Look at these other actresses! One is cross dressing in a tux, another reminescing of her prom 10 years ago, and another going Orchard Road shopping. Yeah, sorry, but I like Joanne Peh over Felicia Chin. The cross dresser is actually Rui En! I couldn’t tell from this picture at all! I love you Rui En, but you don’t look good in this dressing (or this picture).

Ms. Peh looks quite beautiful in that dress.
Yes she is showing some skin.
One still sees much more on any beach.
Then again some may be shocked by her showing ever so little
underside of her breast. Gasp!

I am sure you have been into clubs where young women have
wardrobe malfunctions when gyrating.
One of Ms. Peh’s claims to fame is being sexy and attractive.
Madonna, and Lady Gaga wear less on stage, and both have been
scandalously dressed in public.
Let’s face it some folks are envious of attractive people and will
an opportunity to try to cut them down.

The dress looks alright. I think its the makeup and the hairstyle that make her look ghastly.
My sentiments exactly. The first thought that came to mind was that at least 50% more cleavage was shown in the Beach Ball Babes bikini and nobody made a big fuss about it.
I’m taking that why most of the replies here are made by men… is because the ladies disagree? I’m not sure.
The hair looks fine… as for the make-up, I can’t really tell from the pictures… But it seems fine O_O
