If you were coming to Singapore just for a day… one day don’t seem enough to show you what Singapore has to offer…

For breakfast, I would bring you to our local kopitiams for half-boiled eggs, kaya toast and coffee/tea ! I love kopitiam breakfast and it’s something you can’t get in many countries.

Next, we’ll head on to Orchard Road to take a look at the new malls. Can anyone resist shopping??? There are quite a few new shopping malls in town like Ion, Orchard Central and Iluma. I haven’t really shopped Ion thoroughly yet but I like what I see! Many big foreign brands such as Chanel, Miu Miu, Valentino, Dior etc. etc. The shopping malls also have many restaurants so we could rest for coffee after an entire afternoon of shopping!

For dinner, I would love to bring you to one of my favourite and afordable Chinese restaurant Ding Tai Fung. They serve the most delicious Xiao Long Bao and Pork Chop Fried Rice! There’s a branch in paragon, which is smacked in the middle of Orchard Road.

After dinner, let’s continue shopping at Takashimaya. If you were here during Great Singapore Sale, held  annually around July, there’s sale everywhere! How about let’s go to Clark Quay for drinks after that?

Clark Quay has many pubs, breweries and clubs and we’ll be spoilt for choice! Although there are some really crowded and loud clubs, I think we’d very much prefer a quiet little pub for drinks. Some pubs, like The Crazy Elephant, has really good live bands. We could sit for hours catching up and talking about how much you have enjoyed your trip in Singapore.

I hope you have indulged in the Uniquely Singapore experience.

When are you coming over?
