The LG Joy is the FIRST smart phone I have used! To be honest, after using “not so smart” phones all my life, the learning curve to using a smart phone was quite tough initially. The fully touch screen was something I had a lot of trouble with initially. I’ve got stubby fingers! Luckily, for this touch screen you can use your nails or the stylus. Surfing the net was pretty simple too. I love the customizability of the phone’s desktop page, which you can set favourite contacts, widgets, music, applications etc. There are quite a few ways to navigate around the phone’s different functions.
With a smart phone, it was naturally for me to want to install some cool applications to enhance my experience with the phone. LG launched it’s first phone application store with the LG Joy phone that features many different kinds of Windows mobile programs and games. The list of applications I bought from the store were:

I love to play Texas Hold’em. It’s the perfect game to play while traveling.
SMS-Chat – Unlimited Threaded SMS Messaging! Simply the Best!
U got this application so that my SMS will look more like one from a chat messenger. Some phones already have this function, but those that don’t, you can just download this application to customize how your sms chat looks.

This is something EVERYONE should get. Backing up all your data of your handphone is really important. Especially if you like to change your handphone all the time, or just incase you lose your handphone or you need to send it for repair.
