I’ll try not to include any spoilers in this post… but the ending of Battle Star Galactica, also affectionately known as BSG, was simply amazing! The two hour special, the last episode of season 4, the last episode of the entire American Sci-Fi Drama series ended this week, not letting any of her fans down! Well, definitely not me at least <3

I’m a Sci-fi and Anime buff, and I think besides Doctor Who, my favourite BBC Sci-Fi series of all time, BSG would definitely come in a close 2nd as my favourite Sci-Fi TV series. I didn’t think I would like BSG initially, because I didn’t like the “space” catogary of Sci-fi shows. Sadly, I’m not a Star Trek or Star Wars fan either. BSG was different because it was Sci-Fi made for everyone – not geeks only.

Plot 9/10 – They did rushed the ending a little.

Music 10/10 – OMG the Cylon music rocks!

Characters 10/10 – Every character was flawed. Everyone had their pains and struggles. Humans and Cylons alike. That’s what made it so juicy to watch!

Setting – Every detail on the BSG, every last detail in the language they spoke – instead of F*** they say Frak. I suppose to curse realistically without being censored? The octogon shaped photographs. Every last detail was special.

My favourite character in BSG is definitely Starbuck, acted by Katee Sackoff. She’s a fantastic actress! Starbuck is a very very flawed and eccentric person, she throws tamtrums like a bitch and fights like a wrestler and cries like a teenage girl in love. The many facet of Kara Thrace “Starbuck” was very very well depicted by Katee, and she shows that women can be strong and fragile, cruel and loving, slutty and loyal – she’s everything.
