I'd forgotten all about The Digital Movement since seeing them in action at ix2007 (and painfully noticing their absence at ix2008). The ABS disaster has put back the cause of Singapore netizens by I don't know how much ... and one of the insidious side-effects is to obscure and undermine the efforts of the true grassroots and community lead initiatives like TDM. But maybe in the aftermath, good will come of it. I just registered for blogout 09 too, as much to show support than anything else. If the ABS hadn't gone supernova in the way it did, I'm not sure I would have felt so compelled;-) you’re right!
