Look at the picture below. What is the lady in red holding?

1. a clutch bag

2. a diary

3. a HP special edition laptop by Vivienne Tam

At one glance, many of you would think it’s just a pretty little clutch bag with a HP logo!

Big brand fashion companies and gadget companies have been working together to produce stunning and gorgeous gadgets for fashion savvy consumers like you and me! Like the recent LG Prada phone that I had the chance to play with, these gadgets bring out the unique individuality that separates you and the rest of the population. HP’s world’s first digital clutch is therefore, not a big surprise, as there is a demand in the market for cool looking, non-default, gadgets with functionality and style.

“The notebook is a true reflection of the needs of a modern woman who cares about fashion but is also passionate about her technology. I wanted to create a notebook that would appeal to women of all ages, ethnicities and income levels across the globe.”- Vivienne Tam

Taken from HP’s press release

I want this HP designer laptop because it looks so damn sleek!!

Red has always been my favourite colour, and according to my fortune teller, it is also my lucky colour! The design definitely brings out the passion and power of the moden woman. A women that is not afraid of taking control, being up-beat in both technology and fashion, and of course, a woman with impeccable taste *points at herself*.

The design is inspired by China’s national flower, the peony, 牡丹花. Weighing a little over 1kg and ultra-sleek 10.1 inch display, the HP laptop is merely 1 inch thick. The specs looks relatively good, sufficient for a 10 inches portable laptop, and the best part…. it’s VERY affordable! Retailing at only US$699 (approx. S$1000), this designer laptop is definitely a MUST BUY for 2009. So even if I don’t win the laptop, I would definitely consider buying one *droolz*
