on Jan 17th, 2009City Alive! 2009
I was invited to attend the media event on “City Alive!” – Singapore’s biggest & funkiest street dance party – yesterday. The event was held at TigerLIVE located at St James Powerstation, and of course beer was provided! We were given a short and sweet speech by the event’s organisers People’s Association Youth Movement (PAYM) as well as guest DJ KoFlow.
City Alive! 2009 will be held on the streets at City Hall Front, boosting a line up for renowned international female DJs from UK and Japan, our very own local DJ KoFlow, live performances and Funkamania - our local Street Dance championship.

Honestly, I’ve never heard of DJ KoFlow until now. Perhaps I’m not very in-touch with the local music scene, but I don’t recall any famous DJs besides those resident DJs at clubs like Zouk. Well, when DK KoFlow started to spin the turntable, I finally understand the claims of him being Singapore’s top DJ. His moves were smooth, his rhythm fun, it was really entertaining to watch him spin.

Btw, if you’re wondering why I’m inserting pictures from Gadget3.com , it’s because I was at the event with Sab so we helped each other take pictures and share
