It’s almost the end of 2008, and there’s only one more thing left to do for this year…. Welcoming the new year of 2009!!!
I remember once, I was a young and adventurous soul, I decided to celebrate the new year at Orchard Road. Boy, was that a mistake. The crowds will drown you out, there’s no handphone signal, everyone’s pushing to go somewhere – though I’m not sure where because everywhere’s as packed. I was 15 years old. It was a disaster. haha
Well, 31st December is actually my dearest sister’s birthday, so we’re going to celebrate by eating out… not sure where will we be counting down, but we’re definitely going to try avoid the crowds! It’s difficult to find shopping centres in Singapore that is not crowded on weekends, it’s harder to find happening places to count down without getting bumped around like a pin ball.
I guess I’ll either be spending it at friend’s house or at home with my family
