I was at SITEX 2008 on Thursday, 26 November – the FIRST day of SITEX!
I knew exactly what I was looking for so it didn’t take me long to find it…
I bought my new pink Casio Exilim Z1080 for S$249 !

Now I’ll explain my choice of camera. Sab actually bought the Canon E1 even though she told me it looks silly just one week ago!! Well, I think my Casio Ex-Z1080 was a better bargain hehe

The many reasons why I always buy older models is simply because we can never catch up with technology! It was just about two years ago that I bought my 5 megapixel Kodak digital camera for more than S$500, and one year later it was quite worthless as 10 megapixel soon became the acceptable standard. I’ve definitely learnt my lesson in that we have to get something that is averagely good, but not too expensive.
See, besides point and shoot, I don’t need touch screen or any of the other funky features that other digital cameras offer, paying $249 for a camera seems reasonable and even if my camera is worthless in two years, well, it wasn’t worth much to begin with?
