News on Pope
Pope Benedict paid a visit to the World Trade Center (or what’s left of it) and his message was clear: don’t hate.
“turn to your way of love those whose hearts and minds are consumed with hatred.”
I assume it was a conversation between Pope and God.
Although I’m not a Catholic, nor Christian, nor belong to any particular religion, it’s not difficult to acknowledge a higher entity watching over us. And whenever we feel hatred, we should turn and look at our God and ourselves, and seek for a higher power to help us love instead of hate. Hating someone or something is easy, but loving something that we do not like is much tougher.
Well, here’s an update on Priss.
News on Priss
I have had quite a tough week at work. I guess this is my first job and I’m still trying to get used to the office environment. It’s been awhile since I was forced to communicate with so many people on a daily basis, and although I think I’m quite approachable and friendly, some people are just not easy to get along with. I think I’ve not been very nice to some people at work too, not because I dislike them personally, but perhaps the stressful and hectic nature of our jobs make communication heated at times. Luckily, I’ve also made quite a few friends at work. In particular, I have to mention that my two co-workers that I work most closely with have been very nice and tolerant towards my antics.
On a side note, I’ve discovered iGoogle. Yes, iGoogle has been around for forever, and I just found out how cool iGoogle is! I am lagging very badly on the tech scale and I am utterly ashamed of myself. I shall never ever defend how Yahoo is not that bad in comparison to Google because GOOGLE ROCKS! If I’ve got the time, I’ll write a review on how iGoogle is so cool.
On a even less important note, my Starhub handphone contract is almost up and I have to re-subscribe my phone line. I was told I would receive a $100 voucher upon re-subscription BUT I’ve been very stressed lately surfing the web for a new mobile phone! I’ve considered getting a Wi-Fi phone because it’s just so cool to be able to surf for free on your phone. However, after seeking the opinion of a few friends, I’ve found that Wi-Fi phones aren’t that cool afterall. Now, I don’t know what phone to get. All I know is that I’ve been using Sony Ericsson phones for the past few years and I’d definitely get another Sony Ericsson phone.
Ok, I guess that’s all now.
