on Apr 2nd, 2008How we sabotaged our Intern for April Fool’s

There’s this really cute and somewhat bashful intern at my office and we all love him to bits~

Kathleen, another of my colleague, reminded me yesterday that it was going to be April FoOooLS! *grin* We all knew what this meant… surprises for our Intern!

I won’t disclose his name here since I’m going dilvulge evil details on our April Fool’s jokes!

Prank 1

We wrote his name down on our daily notice for teachers that are on leave or on sick leave for a class at 8.15am! We had to photocopy a blank piece of daily notice and all of us (including my manager) wrote comments on it to make it look authentic. Intern only comes in at 10am, so imagine the shock he got when he saw his name on the daily notice for cover teachers! He frantically SMS-ed Kathleen (but she ignored him!) and called my handphone to ask me what’s going on! I just acted blur and confused and told him to ask Kathleen when she arrives at work.

Sensing something was wrong, he called Kathleen and demanded to know why his name was there! He even asked a few teachers if anyone actually took the 8.15am class and… well I guess he figured it out and Kathleen had no excuses… so Kat told him it was our April Fool’s prank~

SUCCESS!

Oh… but that’s not it.

Prank 2

On Monday, I found a teacher that was willing to collaborate with us on this prank. I emailed our dear Intern this:

Omg, die die… <Teacher’s name> stormed into the office and demanded to speak to you. She was quite furious and asked if you SMS her on Friday or Saturday. I’m not sure about the details but you should speak to Kathleen about it. But don’t worry so much ok?

Thanks,

Pris

LOL! I can just imagine him panicing, thinking about his actions and SMS to that teacher! When he asked me and Kathleen this morning, we told him that we don’t really know why the teacher was pissed at him and that she’s still looking for him.

During lunch, we told Intern to approach this teacher and said she really wanted to talk to him. Another of my manager, whom was collaborating with us, also asked him what was going on with him and the teacher! His face was kind of red and he was a little nervous and puzzled. Finally, when he approached the teacher, she actually gave him a stern scolding (I’m not sure what about even!) and he just kept apologising. Omg, he’s so cute! LOL

At the end of the scolding, I asked the teacher “so, don’t we all have something to tell <Intern’s name>?”. Teacher replied… “Yes, we do. One… Two… Three…”

HAPPY APRIL FOOL’S !!!!!

I should have taken some pictures of him laughing and blushing! His face was so red!

SUCCESS!

It was such a blasted April Fool’s day at the office. It’s my first elaborate April Fool’s prank that I have successfully played on someone~
