on Feb 2nd, 2008Will ping.sg new version solve Edison Chen complex ?

The Edicon Chen complex = bloggers flooding to post scandalous (usually sex related) titled blog posts in order to gain popularity or traffic. Also, scandal-hungry people flooding ping.sg site to get updates of Edison Chen’s sex-capades.

I’ve read in a few blogs that ping.sg will have a new version soon, and that leads to the question - will the new revamp solve the problem of sex scandals flooding the site? If there are going to be categories set up, I don’t think it will deter people from blogging and clicking on the sex related posts. I suppose, in this way, bloggers that are not interested in the scandal and sex related blog posts (who isn’t?) can view interesting blog posts regarding other topics.

I haven’t been reading the updates on ping.sg lately because…. I’ve been busy looking for a new job.

Great news! JobsDB actually bothered to correct a very big problem of their site! It was because of that reason that I have been looking for jobs at Monster.com.sg and Jobstreet.com.sg instead for the past 3 weeks! The search function of JobsDB used to be able to search for keywords of titles and titles only! Now we can all search for “Free, degree” in JobsDB’s search box and find some jobs that will take a fresh graduate degree holder like myself =D
