I’ve agreed to join the insurance company as a insurance agent Management Trainee but so far they haven’t made me sign any employment contract yet. I’ve got to study for CMFAS (Capital Market and Financial Advisory Services) Module 5 and 9 paper first before they would agree to talk about renumeration with me. Honestly, I feel so sick and tired with that company keep avoiding my questions about the employment contract, I don’t know if I even want to complete the examinations anymore.

In any case, I’ve already signed a contract with them stating that if I quit their company, I would have to pay them back for the exams they sponsored me. Luckily the exams only cost SG$107 per paper. The worse part of this is I’ve agreed to go for their AGM (Annual General Meeting) !!! If I had spoken to Luke earlier and he warned me about insurance companies, I would not have agreed to go for the AGM !! If I quit now, I don’t think I’m going to get back the SG$100+ I paid for the AGM trip to Bintan.

I’m in deep shit. I should’ve been wiser and known better than to believe what an insurance company has to tell me.
