I went to the JobsDB fair yesterday with some buddies and it wasn’t as great as expected. Turns out most of the job offers there can be viewed online [at home]. There wasn’t a need to head down to the event at all !

Of course, the event wasn’t totally a pointless one. We got to interact with some companies and recruitment agencies and asked questions regarding the jobs we were interested in. However, the number of people swarming in the Suntec convention hall makes me wonder.. There will be hundreds of applications for each job available there! That minimize my chance of getting a job!

2. Hi thanks for sharing about this job fair. There is second run for this event – JobsDB Career Expo 2009. Last day will be tom 22 March 2009. I was at Suntec yesterday and found out that they have a fair no. of jobs being offered.
