This company wants to hire me as a Management Trainee and promises to pay me $1500 to $2000 basic pay. The only problem is this company is an insurance agency company. I really have no idea what to do! Everyone’s creating the impression that being a Financial Planner/Advisor is big money…
I’ve also thought about getting a job related to what I studied – Psychology.. but seriously there’s no future for all your Psychologists-wannabe out there. There’s a very tiny market for Psychology related jobs in Singapore. Infact, you can just get a Masters in Counselling (which is way easier than getting Masters in Psychology) and you’ll be doing similar jobs. Everyone seems to be so intrigued by Psychology, including myself, just because it’s fascinating. I guess we can’t all be Psychologists. There are less than 10 Psychology clinics in Singapore, most offering counseling services (which doesn’t require you to be a Psychologist). So if I ever consider doing this, I’ll rather be a counsellor.
