People love to read bitchy gossipy blogs, for the same reason people love to buy gossip magazines. I try to refrain myself from turning this blog into a bitchy blog, but I’m a girl! I’m entitled to be bitchy, sometimes.

It’s weird, all the years I’ve been IRC-ing, I’ve known at least 4 Singaporean girls that are located in Australia, that I CANNOT STAND. The crime they commit? Well, they seduce guys from IRC and have a whole group of fan boys drooling for them. Of course, these fan boys will never get to meet them in real life, because most of these girls are fugly and are afraid that the magic spell will be broken when the guys actually get to know them in person.

So these girls, by some arcane means, make these guys fall in love with them, and manipulate them in whatever ways they want. Some girls just like the attention given to them online which they can’t receive in real life (makes you wonder how fucked up they are right?). They make the guys call them in Australia (even though calling card to Singapore is damn cheap) and make empty promises just to ‘hook’ the guy. Some might even offer to have sex with you, if they ever meet.

Think I’m making a big fuss over a small bunch of online attention seeking girls? Here’s one true story. This girl faked her name, school, details, and made this guy fall madly in love with her. They have never met. The guy wired $3000+ to her “aunty’s” account after “dating” with her for a few months online. Don’t ask me why he’s so stupid. I guess the consolation is that she returned him half the money before claiming that it was her cousin faking her online identity and borrowed the money, and then conveniently she disappeared.

Lesson. Watch out for these attention-hungry girls that will tell you anything just to get what they want - your heart. If you ever fall in love with an online persona, make sure you meet up with her/ OR HIM, before you trust her/him with anything! Even my boyfriend enjoys flirting with online girls, that’s how he met me. In the virtual world, there are no commitments. It really astonishes me that a girl he once flirted with online, offered to have a one night stand with him! (I’m not going to mention names here, or anywhere else in this post to protect the ‘innocent’) I guess the virtual world has its pros and cons? Hmm?

Oh yah, xiaxue seemed to have lose weight, or her photoshop skills improved! Anyway, her posts seem to be getting more and more boring… compared to 1 year ago when I browsed through her blog and she actually was naming names of people she couldn’t stand. Bitchy gossip. Girls love.

But on the telephone line I am anyone
I am anything I want to be.
I could be a super model or Norman Mailer
And you wouldn’t know the difference
Or would you?
