Today I bought a Sennheiser EH 150 headphone. SGD$65 from Sim Lim Square.
WOOHOO… Although this headphone can be considered lower range of the Sennheiser products, the sound quality does not disappoint at all !
First the Razer DeathAdder mouse and the Razer Mantis mouse pad, next the Seinnheiser.
I realised that my expenditure of late are on things that make me feel comfortable when I’m infront of the monitor. I even commented today to my mother during dinner that “anywhere my computer is, that is my home”.
Isn’t it frightening how more young children and adults alike are spending so much time infront of the computer? I mean, it’s not a new discovery, but I just have this sudden realisation how important the computer and the internet is to me, I can basically live anywhere with anyone and it’s ok, as long as I have my computer with me.
My hobbies are on the computer (drawing, playing computer games, music, anime, TV dramas)
I do my shopping on the computer.
All my lecture notes and journal articles I need to find are on the internet.
I communicate with my friends via MSN or email.
I read my news on the computer!
Literally every asepect of my life revolves around the computer! Is it just me, or does this seem a little odd. Don’t get me wrong, I love the computer and internet and I recognise the advantages of having everything at your finger tips, but… something is amiss. It might be just a little lonely and hollow, thinking about how crucial the computer is to my life.
Oh well, life goes on. =)
